Waxing is a semi permanent hair removal treatment that seperates the hair from the root. New hairs will not regrow for two to eight weeks and then will grow out soft and fine unlike the coarse hair that results from shaving. Waxing can be used on virtually any part of the body. Over the course of years, if waxing is continued on a regular basis permanent hair removal may occur.
The most common method of waxing involves spreading a thin layer of wax over the desired area. Then a strip of cloth is pressed into the wax and then quickly removed against the grain of the hair. This removes the wax, hair and dead skin cells leaving the skin soft and supple.
